Dr. Williams began her career in youth development work at the Boys and Girls Club of Dorchester (BGCD) and the All Dorchester Sports League in both direct service, management and development positions. After graduate school she began her 21 year career in Boston Public Schools co-creating the first ever Eliminating the Achievement Gap policy and Office. She then spent 9 years as the head of the BPS Office of Equity prior to her 9 years in School Leadership across two K8 Schools (Edison K8 and Kilmer K8). She is ending her career in BPS after 2 years as the Director of SEL and is eager to work on the ground in a school community again supporting Equity, SEL, Climate & Culture).
