Bullying Prevention

At Codman Academy Charter Public School, we are committed to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive academically and personally. We recognize that bullying can significantly impact a student’s ability to learn and succeed, which is why student well-being and safety are top priorities.

To prevent bullying and support our students, we have established a Bullying Prevention Hotline: (617) 287-0700 ex 243 available 24/7. Supporting documents if any may be submitted to reports@codmanacademy.org.

We strongly encourage students and families to report any instances of bullying to school administrators or staff. However, we also understand that some may feel more comfortable reaching out through the hotline, and we are committed to ensuring that all reports are taken seriously and handled with care.

In addition to the hotline, Codman Academy collaborates with safety experts and educational organizations to implement proactive bullying prevention initiatives. These efforts include:

  • Professional development for school staff to effectively address and prevent bullying
  • Workshops for parents on recognizing and responding to bullying
  • School-wide and classroom-based education on bullying prevention
  • Resources for families and educators to foster a culture of respect and inclusion

By working together, we can create a safe and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
