Combined, the 6 teachers who visited…have over 80 years of experience in the classroom. All agreed these visits were the best professional development experience of their careers.”

Codman Academy has hosted hundreds of educator visits from all around the world who have found a day at Codman to be a powerful professional development experience. We have hosted groups from Germany, Japan, China, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Russia, and England and across the U.S.. Visitors have observed classrooms, talked to students, and met with members of our staff.
Generally, visits are informal and tailored to the needs of the group visiting. We welcome you warmly, but we also proceed with our work at hand! We ask every visitor to complete a feedback form to share impressions of your visit to help us improve our practice. All fees raised from our Educator Visitor Program go to Codman’s professional development fund. For a visit, the suggested fee is $75 per person. If this is a hardship, we will work with you to make other arrangements.
Thursdays are designated as Visitor days, and include time to meet with our Head of School and/or relevant school personnel at 10am.
To arrange a visit, please click here to fill out a Visitor Request form. Upon the receipt of your request, someone will be in touch within 72 hours.
