Kate joined Codman Academy in 2013 as the inaugural Lower School reading specialist. Previously, Kate taught 2nd and 3rd grades at The Learning Project, ran her own tutoring practice with Kindergarten – 7th grade students, worked as a part-time reading specialist with 1st – 3rd graders at The Boston Renaissance School and most recently worked as a part-time learning specialist with Kindergarten and 1st graders at The Chestnut Hill School. Kate earned a B.A. in Art History from Princeton University, an Ed. M. from Harvard University and a C.A.S. in reading from Massachusetts General Hospital’s Institute of Health Professions.
